Hot press manufacturers tell you: hot press hydraulic system has two basic work requirements. Apply pressure to the workpiece and drive the hot pressing plate to end the specific movement. The stability of quick closing and pressure maintaining is an important objective to evaluate the function of hydraulic system.
Because the heating and curing of the adhesive should be finished at the pressure maintaining stage, the fast closing speed is beneficial to the process and power. On the one hand, it can reduce the heating of the slab under non pressure, prevent excessive water loss on the slab surface, cause warpage, prevent the pre curing of the adhesive and reduce the surface quality; on the other hand, it can shorten the auxiliary time and improve the productivity of the press. In order to make the press open and close smoothly, it is generally equipped with mechanical synchronous equipment or hydraulic system to insist on synchronization.
The hydraulic cylinder is the central part of the hydraulic system. Now most of the wood processing presses use the plunger type hydraulic cylinder. The large-diameter cylinder plunger is mainly made of alloy casting, which is characterized by high hardness, thick hardness layer, scratch resistance, and better performance than the carbon steel heat-treatment plunger; the small-diameter cylinder plunger is mainly made of carbon steel heat-treatment surface plated with hard chromium, with thin surface hardness layer.
Because the hot press generally requires fast opening and closing speed and accepts impact pressure, the cylinder block needs to select high-strength materials. For general hydraulic cylinders with small diameter and long stroke, seamless thick wall steel pipes can be used. For some cylinder bodies with high requirements, casting or casting cylinders can be selected.
Generally, the working table of hot press used in wood processing and furniture manufacturing is large. In order to make the pressure distribution uniform and to consider the rationality of structure arrangement, most of them choose multi cylinder structure.
There are not many problems in the production of hot press, but a large part of them are in the hydraulic system, such as oil leakage and pressure loss. A lot of common sense and requirements about hydraulic system can't be stated here, but they should be paid more attention to when choosing.
